Anyone else heard, seen cattle by him?  Thoughts to share?  We are looking heavily at using him but there doesn't seem to be much out there right now. 

Has anyone seen calves or have other info on the simmental bull Yardley High Regard, especially on simmental cows?

Based on the pics, #2 and #3 look the best....they both have nice depth, more so than the others.  The third heifer seems a bit course in the front shoulders.  Obviously seeing a picture of each does not tell the whole story.  Nice set of heifers. 

We have Gallagher scales with the aluminum platform (the weigh bars are attached to platform).  They have worked great over the past five years although if you went with this system, make sure you get the mat (or make your own) to set on the platform because our cattle do not like to walk on the...

His docility epd is way too low for my liking which is one of the reasons I chose not to use him (I know the accuracy is low but it does cause a huge hesitation when seeing the epd so low).  Any first hand info on the disposition of his calves?

Grandmaster has worked great for us so far.  We have used him on heifers with good success.  My biggest concern is his growthiness....some of his calves have grown well, others not as well.  What surprises me most from the list is that Rendition and Fat Butt did not make the list.  Are there...

Ebonys Grandmaster is easy calving (we have and are using him on our heifers) and throws thick calves albeit, not always the growthiest, in my opinion.

I was wondering what everyone's opinion are on the Simmental bull Beef Maker.  He has been around for quite some time and he has good growth numbers and strong calving ease.  How are his calves?

We had two grandmasters out of first calf heifers.  Both calved easily and the calves are doing great. We are using him again this year.

Ditto.  We've had two this year out of heifers.  Popped out with no issues. Now they are about 3 months old and both look good, well balanced.  Happy with Grandmaster so far and will use him on heifers in the future.
