No, Simmental. There were a bunch of his babies in the fall that sold for high dollar prices. I am just wondering why his semen went down (he started at $50, and that is why I never bought any - not proven and all).

Maybe with the price at $25 they thought they could sell more semen. I know when I see an unproven bull selling for 40+ it's a big turn off for me.

His docility epd is way too low for my liking which is one of the reasons I chose not to use him (I know the accuracy is low but it does cause a huge hesitation when seeing the epd so low).  Any first hand info on the disposition of his calves?

We have an embryo calf that is about 3 weeks. He's extremely docile right now, you can walk right up to him and scratch him (like the others we have). However, he was big at birth, and if you look at the EPD's of Domination for CE and BW it does not look good, and his accuracies are getting up there.  He is a bull I was wanting to get semen on, but I think I will just wait and see how his EPD's change. I have three more embryos in my tank sired by him, so I will put those in and see how those calves go. He was really hot last fall, it will be interesting to see if the trend keeps up...

Here is a pic of the calf. Right after taking this I walked right up and scratched him on his bottom!
