Just wondering what everyone is paying to have tanks filled these days. We have not seen a bill for a few years now so not sure of the cost. We were going to the city today so thought I would take the spare and fill it so we can spread semen between the two tanks again so it is easier to work...

I agree.....we used it this past yr. for show animals... great stuff.... also fed it to my dog.... Maybe you could try some Kool-Aid.....when I was a kid my parents didn't want me to color my hair.... so for Hallowe'en one yr. we mixed some Kool-Aid powder with a bit of water and combed it through our hair!!! We were a bunch of cool punk rockers that Hallowe'en!!! You could mix a few packets...

If good ol Kit Kat has a real good one I am thinking that our third of the calf may be worth the first four or five picks of the calves this fall. :) I would almost bet it will be white.  :-\

We are not quite that bad but have almost 2/3 bull calves. I would like to see about 2/3 heifers but have had pretty good luck so can not complain too much!

Go to your local hair salon and ask for black die. You will have to mix it also but just get a quick lesson from them and do not leave on for more than about 20 minutes. I would have to double check with Momma for sure. She is a hairdresser turned cattle fitter! It will be about third or half...

Lil Hilltop is fast asleep but we just come in from moving a new pair so thought we would post this for her. Baby Y Candy was born on March 11 and is 15 days old in picture. Sadie has a 4-H project to do herself now with breaking heifer calf.

Just thought I'd post a picture of my bull --Hawkeye--- he's really come along well..... we have eight calves of his on the ground right now and we couldn't be happier... nice birthweights and the calves have amazing hair... I want to use him on more cows next year but... have to see what Mom...
