One of the South Bend Indiana TV stations had a story on Chris this morning. It said they are raising funds to buy his steer at the county fair. It said so far they have raised $48,000. Anyone that would like to contribute can do so by calling David Ambers @219-325-9917.

I have always told our 4-h kids that the best way to learn is watch. If there are any shows in your area before your fair just go and watch the people fit their animals. Good ones to watch are the ones with the top animals.

I went to run and cut a cow off that was trying to get past me the other day & realized my run and walk are about the same speed.

Steve, I also had never heard of him until tuesday when I saw him and about 15-20 progeny. He is owned by Hanewich Cattle Co and I am not sure who else. He is not on his website though. If I recall correctly he said he sold over $100000 in calves last year out of him.

Hey Steve, I saw some Grandmaster calves a few days ago and they were nice. Good bodied and decently stout but not the best necked. They had calves out of a bull called Secret Agent that I liked better. He is a dream on x black jade. Jesse
