I bought a heifer last fall that was bred with heifer plus & ultrasounded with a heifer calf. Something must have been wrong with the calf because it was held together with nuts.

Here are a couple of Shake & Bake calves. Not the best pictures but I thought that I would post a couple because some people have been asking questions about his calves. The first 2 pics are of a heifer out of a sim-angus cow and the next 2 are of a steer out of a 20x20 vision-angus cow.

Yes Mark, that was us. We have a very interesting bull calf this year out of Shake & Bake that my son will probably put a picture of on here after he gets a little age on him.

I don't know much about Amen, but we have been happy with most our Shake & Bakes the last couple of years.

2 weeks ago I was told that it would be another week before he started freezing. That was also the same thing I was told 2 months ago. I placed an order with ABS as soon as they signed him up and it is still on back-order.

We use a ration of 200 lbs corn, 200 lbs oats, 100 lbs Purina Grand 4 T fyer & 25 lbs of liq molasses. We feed this right through after weaning. You could add more molasses to help get them started.

Only two weeks away. Looks like a good February class with both Herefordfootball & DL in class with us.

Serrano was a Habenero out of Miss Tiffy, Mark Johnson's old total Play cow. He made some really good females in our herd And from the looks of this heifer,  must have done the same at the Williams.
