we try to weigh within 6 hours. Usually wait until calf is close to gates & grab. I'm lucky though, we don't have any cows here that will charge you. Farm has some mean ones though. Red

the farm tags are orange & am sure that doesn't matter squat! We don't tag our own cattle. Too few to mix up. We did sell to a family a calf that was tagged Jake (herd bull). The boy's name was also Jake & I think he really thought that was neat. Red
