The place you had the cows flushed, have you used them before and had good luck or was this the first time you had used them. Am wondering if there was an issue with procedure used in flushing and/or freezing. Sorry for your bad luck. What a bummer.

We used the tail paint you put on with a gun and it worked better and was more obvious if the cow was in heat or just got ridden a couple times. We won't go back to the stick on type patches.

You might also try a sprinkle of baking soda  in the grain. We have used that in bulk on feeder calves when we started having bloat issues. Fixed the problem. There is a also a product called TheraBloat that your vet may carry. I don't know anything about it. Good luck.

I almost forgot one of my all time favorites....trying to control prairie dogs. It doesn't matter how much shooting or poisoning or baiting we do, they keep coming right back over from our neighbors across the fence. ARGH!!!
