The 1200-1500 is kinda what im wanting to hear in a bred... The thing that scares me if any of you have looked at the sale catalog at all, some of the nicer ones in my mind are bred to bulls that are not going to be calving ease.. I am use to calving ease using my lowline bull on most all first...

Been looking at some of the bred heifers they have in the sale wondered if anyone knew much about past sales and what kind of money the breds sold for the 2008 results are posted by lot number but that doesnt tell me what sold... Interested in maybe picking up a few bred heifers, but thats a 4...

Agreed, this is unfair to the other people on here trying to sell things when you push all there ads off the first page, please post everything together.. Not a good start to the site...  (welcome)  :-\

Wow he looks really good! I never did get to see him today nor did I ever run into you, we stoped in and looked at a few calves and watched some of the heifers show but then had to get back home.

Yesterday afternoon we had our first fall calf a 3/4 blood lowline bull calf, The neat deal is the cow had her last calf oct 11 2008.... pretty good turn around time on that one! Matt

Thanks for the suggestions Jason, we were kind of trying to let the background show through a little but now that I look at it I see what you are saying, I also do agree with the shadow effect on some of the writing it will make it pop out a little more. Thanks again Matt

We had this happen to one of our cows I wasn't sure what to do it sliced it almost half way threw and milk was coming out a bit... fortunately we let it take its course and it healed enough to close that off from leaking but she no longer can milk off that quarter she is a very strong milker...

We got a calf thats being kind of a brat today to with the attitude kind of scared to take her to fair.. No donkey here to get her in line!!

I think we will be there but not sure yet see if calves sell before then.  ;D Matt

Iowann, I am going to try and make it down for the feeder calf show to look at some heifers, I will try to find ya around there it gets kinda hectic during that though! ha brought some good numbers last year hope it does even better this year! If I happen to make it down there and if you happen...

If its already short to the point where you cant really work with it my personal preference would be to leave it be if it blends ok or you can kinda blend it in, it should look fine. No sense in trying to clip hair that's barely there to begin with then to chance putting a gouge in there neck...
