    Color Question...

thanks...that's my problem.  My memory isn't as good as it used to be!  I just thought with all the I80 calves hitting the ground this spring, someone might have seen one, or have one.  Tried to look up a few ads as well, and didn't see any red ones there either.

    Color Question...

Does anybody know if I80 or Mercedes Benz are homozygous black??  I don't recall seeing any red ones advertised anywhere.  Looking to breed a black baldy Tiger Woods heifer, and trying to decide what would be best on her.  Thanks!

    R&R Transformer 102

CAB...I think he's out at Western Sire Service in NE, but call to make sure he's still there.  Was told he looked better at stud than out in Denver.  See what you think, and report back!  ;D

    Is it possible?

Wow...consider yourself extremely lucky!  The guys breeding for baldies, and getting black calves, are really going to hate you...   ;D

    How Come?

And I'm willing to bet many of the pictured babies were born in Feb!!  :o

    blaze of glory dead??

    Bloat...while at stud.

    blaze of glory dead??

Yep...I heard he died, from a very reliable source.  Not even sure they got any semen on him, but can't say for sure.  Bad deal...for owners and customers!  :'(

    Bismark or Brilliance?

I'd go with Brilliance...seems to put a little more look into them than Bismarck.  Bismarck will probably give you a little more performance however.  For show calves, the Brilliance should tie in a little nicer behind that shoulder too.  Hope it helps...

    Clubby Angus bull?

I can highly recommend Bush's Unbelievable at Cattle Visions!!  Owned by Reimann Ranches and Bush's in SD.  We bred 9 head, and got 6 calves.  Very consistent birthweights...heaviest was 81 lbs out of cow that usually throws some birthweight.  Lightest was 60 lbs, but all the others were 75-80...

    Calf creep feeders

Check with Tractor Supply...they carry a Behlen model that is galvanized and poly.  2 different sizes and they are affordable for a small amount of calves.  I've got one and it's held up well.

    R&R Transformer 102

I saw Transformer in Denver...drew as much attention as most of the clubby bred bulls.  He's really good...very powerful, thick butted and lots of rib.  Even being tied for several hours more than other display bulls, he got out and moved well.  I was told by someone that saw him at stud in NE...

Thoughts on the EXAR bull Totally Tuned

CAB...I've been watching him too.  Saw a nice bull at Denver out of him, that Seldom Rest showed.  I think he'll sire a lot of look, and stoutness, but maybe use him on some deeper, soggier type of females.  Hard to say without seeing too many!  hope it helps...

    Cotton Eye Joe from Trausch

Is he a June 2010 bull??  If born June 2011, won't he be pretty young to run for spring breeding?  Just curious...

    Boss Cattle Co. bull Prowler

Brent...check out his video here.  http://youtu.be/mXklbhXuUNk  I saw him in Denver, and he was impressive.  For an older bull, he moves well and is really massive.  Still enough size and grow to him.  If i remember right, they bought him as an older bull from a commercial ranch in Canada, and...

    calving cameras frustration

I think you need to set up "port forwarding" on the network your camera is on, and register for a "DNS Service" to be able to access that camera from an outside network.  You'll have to ask your IT guy how to do it, but those are the terms and technology that will allow it.  There are also some...
