    Money Man Experiences? **PICTURE ADDED**

Well, the cow isn't the biggest framed thing I own, for sure lol. But she IS very pretty on the profile.  Calf was born 82# UA of course.  Again, any more input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Sam

    Money Man Experiences? **PICTURE ADDED**

Hey all! Just arrived home from NCC, only to find a show heifer from last year calved!! Papered ChiAngus, shes a Stepaside (WMW) out of a TC Angus cow and calf is a Money Man.  My question is, how do the Money Man calves grow? Do they start off a bit 'average' then only get better with time? Do...

The Official Baby Calves Thread Spring 2010

I feel like a proud mommy  <party>  the Herfy calved yesterday (shes a Paparazzi daughter).  Calf is sired by my In Focus son purchased from Bear Mountain last year.  Calf came a bit bigger than what I thought he would (still UA though)... But wow, IMO, he was worth the wait! (clapping)

    SAND RANCH HAND

Sammmy (kinda weird typing my own name.. feel like I'm talkin' myself  ;)), I honestly can't recall seeing him in the pens.  That group was @ the beginning of the sale, and I was out back there feeding OUR cows (we own all the cattle that surrounded the sale barn, if you made it to the barn, vs...

    SAND RANCH HAND

I believe the "show steer" part of that, but this dude had hair O0 lol.  That PG5 I had picked out was really clubby in his design. Really long fronted, notch bolder and and nickle straight in his shoulder, opened into a very powerful top and carried a lot of product on his skeleton.  He was...

    SAND RANCH HAND

Ahhh, you purchased from the fall sale, we purchased from the spring sale here a few weeks ago and we ended up with 9-0081.  I seen a few PG5-1143s, and actually had one circled to watch as he went through the ring, but set him in motion and he was restricted in his front shoulder and didnt...

    SAND RANCH HAND

Thanks for the comments guys! We actually purchased the bull @ the sale chambero mentioned; Power Genetics.  Still not too sure how I convinced bossman into buying a SIMMI... mind you he's tunnel vision Angus... we love him anyway though lol. <beer>.  From what I could see at JD's sale, the...

    SAND RANCH HAND

Just recently purchased a PB son out of him that goes back to a Made Stout female.  Now, I'll be the first to admit, I'm not real 'up to par' on the simmi lines, but for what I want to do with him, I think he just might work... hopefully (thumbsup) I'll just attach a few pics and let you see how...

    Silveiras Style

Really liked the looks of the bull in Denver.  Really clean & extended through his front, as some have mentioned.  His HAIR doesnt hurt him at all either.  If I use the bull, IMHO, I'd use him on heavier muscled females (net worth, lookout, marathon type females) as he did get a notch flat for...

Actually, hired hand played a naughty joke a few years ago.  AI'd grandpas favorite cow to Hammer Jack, and refused to tell anybody until the calf hit the ground.  He looked like an alien amongst the rest of the calves, black and white (much like the speckle parks.. lol) calf in a whole herd of...

    Bull Show Business

Awesome! If you don't mind me asking, what type of females you intend putting him on?  If you ever travel this way (or up in the York area if he's not here) you should stop and see him.  He's one of my favorite! (And not just saying that because he comes in... he is what a bull SHOULD be IMO...
