I was surprised that the youngest class winner took overall Grand Champion. I did not disagree he was very nice but so many judges eye seemed to drift to the larger animals. Reserve was a larger bull. I guess it is nice to see a judge be able to go on the merits for where the animal is in its maturity and not penalize them for not being born earlier. Just my thoughts.

How did division & overall turn out? Angus heifers shown yet (open)?

True, the young ones usually don't get as much as a look, and true he was the best bull. But lets not give too much credit,  the blue crew puts their highest ranking person on the one that is supposed to win.
There were no real surprises in the heifer show either, Express won it too.
