I agree with MEDIUM RARE ,bull deal is  the worst because you grow them ,get some of them to fat ,won't test ,if they do you get the privilege of guaranteeing them the first breeding season , some are to fat and get hurt  ,most problems  IMO is the ANGUS .....PEOPLE FORGET ABOUT THE COST'S AND...

FAT  cattle had record high of 170 yesterday !!!!

First the market's report for yesterday , a size able group (51 .)  of red angus heifers at 584 brought total per head check of 2289.00  .... Other groups of  red angus heifer calves brought over 2000.00 up to the high I quoted .... There is a bunch of these highly promoted cattle not doing...

For anyone interested the Charolais  bull is FWT SAM 951  was very popular as were the 4T and Litton cattle were for many years with great disposition .... TYPEY. their would be many different definitions for this ....Not as much growth ,and the characteristics we look for in faster growing...

If you have good Duff bred cattle with good dispositions and enough milk  UPWARD is not a very good choice IMO  !!!!!!

MIGHT be time to get out of clubby's seen some  nice calves with the extra work and costs not bring enough over market to pay for it .....In NEBRASKA THERE ARE A LOT OF COUNTY SHOW'S THAT OFFER MORE PREMIUM FOR THE END PRODUCT THAN THE state fair of Nebraska and they expect you to spend 4-5...

SMILIN BOB has worked for the BENES on some Char cows very good !!! UNSTTOPPABLE -HAS HAD GOOD REPORT'S ALSO !!!! SOLID GOLD -I used him on CHAROLAIS PB cow and got PB CHAROLAIS LOOKING BULL CALF ....ALL WHITE MAN AMONG BOY'S I think should work also !!!!! MONOPOLY  IS VERY GOOD ON charolais...

Calving ease bulls that know are that , there is some in most breed's ...

Lot of things I like about Firewater ,and I have only got about ten calves ...One of the first one's was coming backward and had the widest rear end I had ever seen and I raise a few clubby's .... Also towards the end of those ten head had another birth problem ,they were out of UNLIMITED EASE...

MONOPOLY works well on PB CHAROLAIS cow's , proven winner and money maker ...

THE TRUE RATTAIL IS GENETIC and for year's have been a problem of SIMMI ....Have raised Charolais over 50 years and had never any problem unless some SIMMI was in the mix ...Helped a commercial guy raise quite a few SIMMI'S 30 year's ago and rattails were a problem with what looked like ANGUS...

Sorry to hear that, knew him along time ago in  my younger day's ,he was quite a showman and a lot of fun ....

I have to disagree , it's all in your selection  whether it be ANGUS,HEREFORD, CHAROLAIS ,SIMMENTAL CHIANINA OR MAINE ,some of the basic breed's...In this group  in last 40 years the two British breeds have spiced their bloodline up  and lost dependability ...Back then ANGUS could make any...
