This particluar cow has been at home for 2 months because we thought she was gonna calve...and in hte barn for about 2 weeks...tonight seems to be the night we'll get a new memeber of the family.  Cant wait! I am not impressed either diamond, but storms do get me all excited.  Their so neat. Jamie

What is the maxium amount of characters a ear tattooer can hold?  Another question.  How do all of you keep up with registration?  I am about to crack just thinking about it.  I have to transfer the hef. for junior nationals and register the calves.  Do any of you have any secrets you could let...

You guys are very lucky.  I have pretty much the whole purebred herd and half the commerical herd still yet to calve out.  We had a harsh summer and most didn't stick the first time around. Jamie

I have seen some New Horizon and Midland and think either would be good. Jamie

We wait till ours reach a week old then we shove feed in their mouth and they take off from there. I dont have no fancy creep feeder either.  Just some lightweight panels with a chain connected to keep the cows out and a low mineral feeder.  Jamie

How exactly are you supposed to use a roto brush and a fogger?  I know it is a stupid question.  I know that the roto brush is placed on a drill and the fogger on a hose, but i need details.  How do they help? Thanks, Jamie
