Correct me if I'm wrong......but I think what you're seeing is probably years of embryo transplant drugs taking their toll on her.  I'm sure she had alot of power to begin with....but if a cow has been flushed a bunch of times, and I'm sure SHE has, they CERTAINLY GET BULLY LOOKING. Everyone...

In my opinion....you really can't consider My Turn a "TRUE" outcross.......BUT, in comparison  with the close knit matings of the past 3-5 years.....he opens up a DIFFERENT ROAD that's similar and proven, yet not quite so crowded with the same ole stuff... Many called Heat Seeker an "outcross"...

The DNA test to KABOOM has to come through first....and then we'll go from there....I'll try and keep you informed.

I'm 10 for 12 heifers this year so far......on steer matings!!!  Aggrivating!  The only mating I wanted to be a heifer came 9 days early and was a BULL!  We didn't have that GOOD of luck with our sexed female semen!  (lol)

TH and PHA status stay the SAME.....TH carrier - PHA FREE....... Knabe.....I also thought we dodged a PHA bullet after figuring this out.

SOME can do this......you have to use him on LITTLE TH Carriers....like Heat Seeker and Waves, Double Stuff and Visions, and those type of cows. Pale Face produced many Champions and awesome cows that are working REAL WELL, like Womanizer's mom and 2008 Ohio State Fair Grand or Reserve steers...

Heat Seeker x Mailman raised by Jay Solsma in northern Iowa......could do some nice things.....would never consider HIM calving ease though........  I don't think he was a tremendously hard calver, but NOT easy enough for heifers.
