EZ-ALL works best for us when getting sale calves ready. I've seen really bad ones come clean without hair loss.

Here in Ohio feeders  are bringing $1.40 to $1.45 a lb for 600 lb good calves at the sale barn. Thats over $800.00 for sale barn calves. I think they will get higher. Fat cattlle high was $1.30 today in northern OH.

Monopoly is a good choice along with Walks Alone or maybe Eye Candy. Stay away from Yellow Jacket as I believe she has to much leg under her. If you want maternal I would look at Maverick or Shu.

Once the calf is a custom to it's mineral intake he will only use around 4 ounces of mineral intake per day. therefore less than 2 50lb bags will take your calf to the finale show days.

We put our maine prefix letters in one ear and the birthday date (#'s) in the other. For example if the calf is born on March 3rd 2011, the tattoo would read 33Y in one ear and the prefix letters in the other. Been doing this for 10+ years.

You could try Maverick as I've had success with him on heifers. Another thought would be Gucci as he is listed as a 76 bw but I have never personally used him.
