    breeding suggestions

If you want a show steer. I might give Monopoly Money a shot or Believe in Me if she's got plenty of depth.

    a few spring calves...

Nice looking set of calves.  Really like that lock and load bull. We've got a cow out of him we showed last year I absolutely love.  Good luck with all your calves,  should be fun.

    Anyone have Combustible Calves

I have 2 of them.  A bull and a heifer both out of Angus cows.  The bull calf has a spot of white on his head,  heifer is solid black. Both cows have had baldys in the past.  They both are good boned, hairy and pretty.  Very adequate amount of muscle,  just have more leg than I was expecting. ...

    No Remorse

I saw some at Wernings that were very impressive. He's a smaller framed bull but it appears they get big enough. A friend of mine has a darn nice heifer out of a Meyer x Angus that's real pretty but not very thick.  Seems to have added muscle on her calf as she's very good. I wouldn't be...

    New Cow Need Breeding Suggestions

Great looking cow. I like all of those options.  Id probably give man among boys a try.

    best maternal bull poll

My vote would be for Combustible.

    MAB son...

He does look good.  Also was very impressed with Roger That when I saw him at stud. Might be a bit neater fronted than this guy.

    What Simmental bull to use?

CARD Uproar is an Upgrade son that someone mentioned earlier. I saw him last year at Nichols and he is good.

    Fitter 35 protein supplement

Fitter 35 definitely has some other useful ingredients in it that are beneficial.  This was designed more for the swine and lamb crowd,  but we used it to hold a show heifer last year and trim her up and it seemed to help. Show lamb and pig experts may have some shortcuts to accomplishing the...

    What Simmental bull to use?

Without seeing the cow, combustible and high regard are very good and popular.

    Uprising

He is a flat awesome individual.  Coolest fronted simmental I've seen.  Haven't seen any calves out of him. He looks better now than he did a year ago.  Combustible is really good as well.  I liked him better last year,  but wasn't at the same stud this year.

"Believe In Me" or his son "I Believe"

Saw both of these at stud last year as well as this year. Last year I would have bred everything to I Believe.  This year I would be pretty cautious on him.  He really grew up.  Seemed pretty large framed to me compared to his sire.  Until you see some calves I would use the proven bull. There...

a couple questions about a few bulls

I would say that monopoly money and walk this way need to be used on a smaller framed cow. Unstoppable is best suited for pretty fronted cows with some muscle. Man among boys can be used much like monopoly.  This is pretty much what I've heard from the owners,  hope it helps. I've seen them all...

    grandmaster offspring?

They're thick and deep.  Some get a little more shoulder and front than youd like,  but overall they're good.

Black baldy bull to use on heifers

Might want to consider wc Lock down or Dream Catcher.  The sire of the outsider is built right and he would also work well. Numerous simmental and simm x Angus bulls would work well.

    Size of Combustible Calves

I used him on bigger pretty fronted cows. The cows are out of a northern improvement son bred similar to lutton. Since I couldn't get lock and load semen I decided to try royal affair and use him where I would have used lock and load. The calves are more moderate,  definitely thick and deep. ...

    Size of Combustible Calves

I have 2. Both high 80s. Good bone, decent hair.  A little more leg than I expected. Both out of Angus cows. Time will tell,  I guess right now I like my Royal Affair calves better. I will use combustible again,  he's an awesome looking bull. Better in person than the picture in my opinion.

    Wheelman

Has anyone seen or had any experience with this simmental bull? Hadnt heard much about him.  Picture looks good. Denver champion in 2012 I believe.
