Just needing to gloat a little....UPDATE, Flush Opportunities

Tremendous lookin calves. The hard work has its rewards. Doesn't hurt to have solid genetics also, along with a good eye for functional cattle.I think there would be several reasonable options as far as breeding.i would definitely consider Ace of Diamonds.you would keep the style and have great...

    Totally Tuned

Ask Mark Copus about Totally Tuned steers. He won as much or more with them as anything he ever led into a ring[not mark himself].With the club calf cow changing as it has these past few years,he should work pretty good. Alot of bulls seem to be forgotten at times, that still work today. If DNA...

    Eye Candy thoughts

I'll bet most of that birthweight came from Wonder.Redgate's use to have some big calves outa him.

    SULL GNCC Asset

According to your Avatar, you are a newbie on SP.I would assume by your comments about the above posts,a very inexperienced one at that, and possibly very unknowlegeable about shorthorns and their breeding.Let me assure you that there are a lot of very knowlegeable folks on here, and they are...

    Good Calves or Unethical Treatment

I don't know who you are an could care less. But you seem to me to be a HSUS or Peta person. At best a city type FFA person. Tell us who you are making these allegations, I wanna hear their sde of the story.....While on this subject,I have used HW and so have many other folks I know, with little...

    The Colonel

H is a clone to Tiffany Pruitt's calf that she won Kansas City with a few years ago. That was one hell of a good calf,as he won every jackpot show from Texas,Okla, and Kansas as a calf.Tiffany is Steve Bonhams neice. Lautner even advertises that they thought they had the steer to beat that...

    Whiplash daughters

Breed them back to WMW or Jacee's Ramblin Fever [Angus] or any good clubby type Angus. You could use Full Flush and wish for heifers, you might want to use HW or any number of his sons, for steers. Ali,Paddy, or Tyson could make good calves. If you want more Simmy influence,I would use some of the...

    What's he worth?

From one picture to another,he changes quite a lot.He looks to be a little straight off that front end.Could be he was caught[pictured] off balance.Remember, people on SP that might be interested in him will tell you a lower price to make money themselves. That's ok but pick a starting...

Habanero vs. Irish Whiskey Your opinion

If I had to choose between the two,I woukd use Habenero. If you have enough females I would use both.Keep the heifers and breed them to WMW.You might get some decent steers from Habenero, and you might get a decent bull by either one.

    What bull will add frame??

Hang on to her, breed her to Total Solution, then Friction or his daddy Full Flush,if still not satisfied try Foreplay. If all the calves are good but too small for you, call and I will buy her for 100.00 over market price. If you keep her that long you won't sell her,if she milks.

Jakes Proud Jazz on Clubby Heifers

Excuse me,but no I haven?t changed my mine. The reports on Fever calves have been awesome, with repeat orders. However, most of the time, the TS calves will be stouter at birth. Not unusual though with Habenero/WMW compared to a purebred Angus.I like and USE and recommend all three.
