I have two full sib whiplash daughters out of a chill factor cow. They have both successfully had their first calves. One has a real nice who made who heifer. The other has a bull calf out of a purebred highlander. Both cows are moderate in size, are sound structured and good milking mothers. I was just curious what everyone is using on these females to raise replacement heifers or showsteers. Any input appreciated. Thanks

Breed them back to WMW or Jacee's Ramblin Fever [Angus] or any good clubby type Angus. You could use Full Flush and wish for heifers, you might want to use HW or any number of his sons, for steers. Ali,Paddy, or Tyson could make good calves. If you want more Simmy influence,I would use some of the Meyer sons.

Whiplash + Chill factor =  Really good cows........ Just breed them to a good bull.  How does the Highlander bull look?  If he is decent, might be a good bull for producing clubby replacements.

From some of the bulls being promoted by Lautner, Kelly, May, & Putz, you may want to think about Open Bar for clean ones and Heetseeker for possible THCs.
