my stepdaughter started showing when she was 9 and that was 10 years ago....our 13 yo started showing when she was 7 and the middle daughter didn't want to show until she was 9 and she will be 11 in march and our boy, he started when he was 3 showing at our fair and open shows...he is 7...

you are exactly right red.....we actually did better placing on saturday....we were 3rd in both rings with our heifer...was good to know that the overall champ came out of our class....and on sunday we placed Reserve Chi and Champ Appendix shorthorn in Ring A and then in Ring B our chi was 5th...

So what did everyone think of the Lima Show this year????  I thought the quality of the cattle was amazing...I don't think I saw a bad one in the bunch....Loved the two rings for showmanship.....made the whole thing whiz right by.....I think the show ran pretty good with the two rings....maybe...

we will be there for sure....my daughter has a chi steer and the other has a shorthorn plus steer and not sure how many heifers we are taking....one i think will be chi and the other a maintainer....always love that show...lets just hope the weather is as nice as last year.... (clapping)

No probably not unless it rains....but our partner Dave is going down tonight to help Gene on Friday and then the sale day....I should stay home my 7 yo son and my 10 yo daughter broke their wrists in gym class at school and they still aren't able to do a whole lot and you get them around cattle...
