    Something different

No worries on the website.  ;) I understand completely. We too have just started back up and are very small. We are getting there.  (lol) Still would love to have a beltie again! Feel free to pm anytime with updated pictures or post them here. Love to look at them. Good luck with your herd...

    Opinions on heifer

From what I can tell from the pics she looks pretty good. Have you had her out in the show ring yet?

    Something different

IMO you won't regret it if you get one! Belties are known for their thickness, gentle disposition and maternal packages. I used to have a red beltie. Her markings were awesome. She was the only red we had the rest were black belties.

    Something different

So happy to see people still raise them. Some of the best cattle I raised were belties! I hope that down the road I will have some again. By the way nice looking calves there! Do you have a website?

    Belted Galloways

I was wondering the samething myself! I used to raise them too then I went to Angus. They are some of the best cattle to raise! Gotta love the thickness, gentle disposition and maternal packages they come with! Would love to get a couple again!

Baby calves (from SA Commander) and one more

Wow that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. We never had calves by him but from what I remember a few friends used him and they weren't that bad looking. I can't remember who they did show wise.

    Pennsylvania Farm Show

We are more of Angus breeders but do have one that we breed to club bulls. I always like looking at bulls of no matter the breed. What do you all have?

    Need help

It may not hurt if it's allowed to bring a companion with her. I don't know if that is a possibility but worth a shot. With other cattle being around at the show on both sides of her then she may eat. Have you tried a trial run with her? If you have a friend that has a farm maybe take her there...

    your farm history?

Well my dad has always had cattle since childhood and put a house on my grandparents land. The land was well over 300 acres but my great grandfather sold all of it but 25 acres. Before that it used to be a convict camp and a civil war camp. We have found all kinds of neat stuff out there. It's...

    Pennsylvania Farm Show

I was curious if anyone was going to the Pennsylvania Farm Show coming up in a couple of weeks? I'm going but not showing anything. I'm hoping to see some good bulls on display! Would be interested to hear if anyone is attending and if you are, are you going to be showing?

    Odor Conrol at Small Facility

Next time you strip everything out let it air dry before putting down anything else. Then go with your lime and shavings. Lime becomes your best friend for smell control in the barns. Maybe look into shavings that are less dust so that way you don't have to wet it down. Wetting it down everyday...

Headliner x Meyer 734 Heifer Opinions?

Very nice. She looks pretty flawless. Are you going to keep her or are you selling?

    Indian Outlaw Heifer
