    Holding Big Fall Heifers

    Just let them eat hay and mineral. Thats what im doing with my heifers and they look great. Works good for me it may not work for you. But its worth a try if you dont want one too fat.

    Personaly i would take him off the alfalfa, and get him on some grass hay. Just my opinion. Looks good though, i think by june he will look great.

    Brush it straight down and then slowly brush it forward. Also do this when blowing. This will help alot.

    Does she have a big area to move around? Water on one end hay on the other? This would help. You may try backing her up some also. If you need too try some Glide or Natural Stride.
