We've had about average temperatures :), but less than average rainfall, :(. I know this morning I had a sweatshirt on while feeding and was still shivering. It was in the lower 50's

I am being charged $20.00 for the breeding fee and and $1.00 per head per day.

By this I mean have you ever taken anybodys heifers/cows and turned them in with your cows and bull. If so, how did you handle this? What prices did you charge for breeding and room and board charge?

bump          I work part time at the dairy because I am also a full time college student.

We've used it to feed our heifers, didn't really have a ration but they loved it and the cob added good fill.

I am working at a dairy farm in Shelby County, Ohio. Because of the milk prices they are considering cutting back on the number of cows and employees, because it is a small dairy I am the only non-family employee. After they fill the silos they will let me know if they can keep me around or not...

It's always school season for college sudents on quarters!!! >:(
