Your bull breeding someone elses heifers/cows

By this I mean have you ever taken anybodys heifers/cows and turned them in with your cows and bull. If so, how did you handle this? What prices did you charge for breeding and room and board charge?

our old bull took care of the neighbors cows for 2 years on his own. he doesn't mind, we don't mind. best set of calves he's ever had. *needs to get that fence fixed*

$1.00 / day plus  $25.00 per cow breeding charge.

One thing you might think about doing this , is therer any chance of TRICH or any other transmitable disese that could infect your bull an also your cows.....

The fall cows I breed I just over winter the guys bull for him and the spring cows (just 2) he lets me just bring up and get bred in pasture or I have him bring all his cows and bull down to my pasture and let them eat my grass.
