Here is our best, and 2nd best July bull calves.  Taking into account time of year born, pedigree, and looks- both were decided upon not being good enough not to cut.  This is pretty typical of the Gates bull calves, and so we decided to make more, born a different time. 

Very good...  it's interesting to this Midwesterner, all the different 'type' of ABC cattle that I saw while judging down there.. Very good cattle, just completely different than what we have here...

I'd wager breeding on ability, and longevity of ours against it any day...
