Have had some calls and booked some rides for calves....I still have room for 2-3 more calves. The trailer is empty going north....any calves need rides give me a shout!!

Ill have an empty trailer heading from NE Texas to Nw Illinois the first weekend of August. I will then cut across Iowa to the Nw corner and back to Texas. Ill have some room for a few calves if anyone has something that needs a ride.

That is what I was thinking myself. This was in Texas....I left out names and locations to keep the drama down. I just wanted other opinions about this situation because I was made to look like the bad guy. But like you said, their argument was they had shorthorn papers thus they should show...

There were all purebreds there.....it was the only "mixed" calf in the English breed. The other mixed calves were in AOB. I wont take anything from the calf...she was a great one....they just allowed her the path of least resistance at the expense of the other kids showing purebreds.

We were at a jackpot show this weekend and they allowed a blue roan heifer show as a single entry then enter the British drive. I had said something to the people running the show that the calf should be AOB instead of British since there were several AOB calves there. The family called me out...

Be sure to bring a generator....they will not turn the power on at the facility for this show. See yall there!!

I was told by a fitter that a wart the size of the one in the pic I have posted can come up and be this size in a week or so........just asking for other opinions. I DO NOT TRUST THAT FITTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Compare the stifle area......even the older pic the calf has more stifle....

Here are pictures taken 24 hours apart. The calf being shown in San Angelo, and the one delivered to me. Anyone reading this remember or compete against this calf in the MAINE breed????
