    About four years ago we had the same deal she had a real small calf one day and the calf wasn't doing to well so we put her in the barn and like 7 or 8 days later she had another one! yeah it sounds crazy but it happens, and luckily both of them lived!

    Do to the teperature I have not been washing him, but I have been spraying water on his legs to make sure they are clean. But is the synthetic brush the white one in sullivans catolog?

    For one he is bedded on straw layed on top of snow, and for two the brush makes sence, I will have to get one of those synthetic ones though, and yes I keep them oiled i usually blow in a good coat of " proclaim " it's a cheap pink oil. Thanks for the advice, anything else I need to know?

    I have a steer that has pretty good hair all around his body, and can grow it like it was a weed. But he needs more leg hair because he doesn't have the bone he should. To be honest with you his legs do not fit his hairy body and big butt. Do you have any suggestions in how to grow that long...

    I had the same problem last year sorry to tell you but Im pretty sure it is lice. What you need to do is deworm him asap if it's not done already and then dab bagbalm on the bare skin it works good. They can get lice from birds or even if you rubbed up on something that had lice it will spread...

    Feeding Cows Grain

    The only reason I would feed cows grain is if I have to mix my mineral supplament in with it. But now im feeding out of a tub so I dont feed grain. Unless they are thin I would stop feeding grain, the cows will holler at you for a while because there used to grain but theyll get over it.

    I got a steer that weighs 750 lbs. and his flank is getting higher and higher what do I do? Do you have any suggestions? I have to get it down he's a heck of a steer but the high flank is making him look bad from show side.

    Need help on finishing a steer

    There is a chery flavored 90 percent fat oil I think sullivans might have some. It does a great jod it will add fat coverage and bloom. It works great and the chery flavoring makes them want to eat it unlike some other stuff.
