from this pic, looks like a TRUCK, some of the biggest feet and bone in a newborn calf that i have seen for a while. would love to see him in a month or so (thumbsup)

take a nylon rope halter and soak it in water for a day then set it out in the sun for about a week. that seems to make them frizz out and stay a little better.

have always been a dr who fan, also a bull called hired man, i have seen some really good calves out of him and sunseeker.

ic well then the first question is are they tested for th and pha.

on almost all heifers i recommend Dirty Hairy, we have had very good luck with him. they have all come out small but grow good and have a lot of thickness and hair.remember the first one needs to come out alive it most generally isn't going to be the number one calf of the year anyhow.
