Saw three Yellow Jacket clones this weekend in West Texas.  Wish I'd brought my camera.  Easy to tell they were clones but also each one a little different.  Smallest one was sick and I'm sure he'll look better another day.  #2 and #3 were closer to being what you would think clones would look...

Fred Orrell passed away yesterday.  Fred is Kent Orrell's dad.  Orrell Herefords, Oklahoma, raises lots of champion steers.  Please keep Kent and his family in your thoughts and prayers.  don't know funeral arrangements yet.

Back 12 or 13 years ago saw either a Teapot son or Teapot himself, can't remember which - that's what happens when you get older.  he was in Central Texas at a shorthorn breeders place and saw several Teapot heifers and steers.  From what I remember his calves had lots of volume and muscle along...

good looking calf.  soggy, lots of muscle, looks like will feed easy, just a box with a head and lots of hair.  makes me wish he was closer to Texas. good luck with him.

Reese Haymes black steer that won it in 01.    I agree.  My favorite haired show steer that I can remember.  You could admire him all day. Woody comes in 2nd - great calf, super job showing, Vickie P. was one of the best.
