we have a bunch of dogs here. 4 blue heelers, 3 kelpies and 2 hangin tree's, if they will work cattle we will feed em. even had a pure pit bull female that was a heck of a cow dog till my niece claimed her. now she is a fulltime babysitter    <cowboy>

wow wish i had ground like everyone else. our winter allotment is figured by the blm and its 91 acres per cow per month.  we have great mountain ground where we run 400 pair on 8400 acres.    <cowboy>

we test our bulls for trich in the fall when they come home from the mountain, in march before turn out the bulls have a full breeding exam and another trich test and young bulls that have been raised or purchased are pap tested to run at 10,000 feet

the best we have found are the blm burro's, just get them used to ya and only gentle them enough to work around them and they dont need to be halter broke all the way.  best $50.00 i ever spent      <cowboy>

i was thinking these 2 bulls would frame down abit and stouten the calves up. i was thinking about useing them on high% maine and simmental caows. if not these 2 what would the sp crowd suggest. i need to add some flank, lower quarter and overall stoughtness

used dirty harry and just sold the calves, easy calvin nice cattle, dont breed to an average cow expectin to get somthing clubby.  breed him to some angus x herford cows and just got good commercial calves. bred to some maine and chimaine heifers and got some thick hairy good fronted calves...

cjc ill let you know about the vanilla ice calves when they get here about 3 weeks away, i have a vanilla ice heifer i got out of california and she is a rip    (thumbsup)
