I agree, it is a mixture of both.  I've had crazy cows with the calmest calves, and have also had calm calves by Flush, Heat Seeker, etc.  Also had crazy calves out of those same bulls and calm cows.

I noticed that Walks Alone is carried by ABS now.  I have heard the semen quality has been questionable, but would you trust the semen if it comes from ABS?

Cattle Visions has him listed as PHA carrier and TH free.  I have always heard it was the reverse.  I would say they just got it reversed on Cattle Visions.

I've been thinking of using him too.  Any report on birthweights?  Is he reasonably safe for heifers?

I have read several posts that mentioned semen quality on various bulls.  Just to throw this out there, what bull have you all had the best luck with in terms of semen quality?  Especially in terms of the Heat Wave sons.  I have had tremendous conception rates with Invincible and Leroy Brown. ...

That is odd that you say you got such good conception rates with Heat Wave.  I have never had good results with HW or the clones.  When Full Flush was hot, I always had bad conception rates with him, then since the clones came out, I don't think I have missed a cow that I've bred to him.
