we got our first calf out of I80 on tuesday ! he was a little guy ..first calf heifer he was 55-60 lbs unassisted ! thought i would share some photos ..hopefully he will be a good one ! comments welcome

where are you located ..im in IL and we put them in after we rinse and blow dry outside cooler to keep excess moisture out and then they are in there from 6am until the air is as cool as it will get so on hot days/night midnight or later.. keep them in complete darkness. and too grow good hair...

what was the date the last time you AI her ? that would help to know along with when was the first time the clean up bull bred her ? we have a heifer that came into heat after we bred her and that was in august and we think she is going to calve this month so we think she came into a false heat...

how big of a calf was it and was the cow a small cow? sometimes if its a big calf in a smaller cow the calf will have bent knees and will take about 3 -4 day for them to stretch out from being cramped
