Need cooler room advice please help

So I have a cooler room built and i need some advice. How long can I keep cattle in the (time periods) and keep fresh hair. How do you guys up north do it.? State fair is in October, then Kansas city, then Louisville,,and then Denver...... When do I put them in for the October show and do I keep then in all the way thru Denver. How long cani keep them in before I need to let them shed out. Also what about the summer jackpots. I just need advice on what is best. Please help,please

where are you located ..im in IL and we put them in after we rinse and blow dry outside cooler to keep excess moisture out and then they are in there from 6am until the air is as cool as it will get so on hot days/night midnight or later.. keep them in complete darkness. and too grow good hair depending how low you go i would say 3 to 4 month and how hard you work ..we normally have good hair by august but we put them in in later april early may

I am mainly asking how can u keep them in year long to make all those shows? Don't they have to shed out  at some point?

Let them "shed out" in April for a October show (use grill brick to get all the dead hair out). Then put in cooler in April 20-May 10. I'd do same thing for KC. Don't know about the other shows.
