Points for Persuasive Essay- Why to Eat Beef

    Alternatives to Beet Pulp

Had him on it for 3 months, scours never went away. Was on 1 lb all 3 months cause didn't want to bump him with him having scours.

    Alternatives to Beet Pulp

My steer can't have beet pulp, at all, or he scours. We tried Full Tank, thinking that since it had a little less concentration of beet pulp than the straight beet pulp we were giving him, but he still scoured. Would cottonseed hulls work? Or something similar? P.S. I tested my theory of him...

MY MARKET STEER ( UDATED PHOTOS)-(UPATED PHOTOS 2)

With what wormer? If I was you I would get an Iver-on or similar [b] pour-on ]/b]and do a power deworming, deworm with a pour on three days in a row, then one day a week after, knocks pretty much everything out. Also was reading your previous posts on this thread- get him eating by himself or...

    Neck Sweats

Agree with showstopper, trashbags work just as well if not better and are much cheaper. Plus I like em cause you can control em a bit more than a set shape neck sweat.

Have you dewormed him yet? Looks like he needs to be, I've seen deworming make a significant impact on how a calf looks.

    Joint Supplements

What joint supplement would you recommend? My steer is decent in his stride, but tends to get a little "tight" until I walk him a decent ways, so what supplement would you recommend? It doesn't have to have to be magical just something to make his walk a lil better. Keep in mind that  I don't...

    Choosing the Right Breed

I am raising a heifer next year but I'm not sure what breed to go with. I really love Shorthorns, and would love to raise one but I want to give other breeds a fair chance ;).  I have the time and facilities to have a long haired cattle breed. So, what breed do you recommend, why, and what to...

    Cool Brockle Faced Steer

I am fully aware he wasn't looking for opinions, just thought I would make potential buyers aware. And you just gave a critique so why are you chastising me for it? By the sound of your post your not interested at all  in buying him, so make sure your hands are clean before you go saying stuff.

    Cool Brockle Faced Steer

A lil light boned, and it appears he toes out. Look at 0:14 in the video, but can't see a clear shot so maybe not. But otherwise a nice steer, absolutely love his coloring.
