    Semen Prices on New Bulls

So I am a little confused, you have one calf by year and if you like a bull, have seen him and think he's good what would stop you from paying more money for semen on him, proven or not?  I mean come on $20-25 per straw and there asking $60 or $100, what's 4 or 80 bucks on a calf for show...

    Jackpot Steer feed by Kalmbach

We don't personally feed Kalmbach but work with a family that does....have not heard of it, I will check it out.  Traditionally used the 1/3,1/3,1/3 and blended with either 10%barley or corn depending on calf plus whatever else needed.  What's the claim for what it's good for?

    chinook

He will be available through Cattle Visions, Mid-West Genetics, and soon SEK.  Look for his add coming up in SC....Nathan told me tonight he's working on additional distributors, contact him for progress.  Our best is getting bred to him, we have confidence in what he can do....good luck!

Thanks JB...hey that Troubador you guys raised is nice, just needs some time.....I wish my Troubador was as calm as that one.  The one Im keeping back seems a tick on the skidish side, hope shes not a fence buster when she gets bigger.

    I-80 Semen

Thanks, Powers heifer is real nice and the Acmoodey heifer dressed better than I thought and looked good.  The I-80 is out of a full sister to Bloombergs heifer that won IL state fair in 08 and was reserve in Denver.  Our heifer was a little more cowy and I think that's what he was looking for. ...
