What does anyone think about using him on a leroy brown x sim first calf heifer?  is he proven calving ease enough????

Does anyone know anything about this bull?  I like the looks of him but was curious if anyone has seen hiim in person?  I know nothing about shorthorns but was thinking about possibly using him on some Angus cows.

I am adding it to my creep as well.  I was told that as long as my basic creep is a balanced ration that it can just be mixed in at approx .25 lbs per calf per day and slowly work up but not to exceed the recommended 1 lb/head/day.

I have a very nice heifer that we are showing this year out of Powerhouse and an Angus cow (actually she is the heifer in my avatar).  But I would not recommend him for heifers either.

Here are a few of the heifer calves. The first 2 pics are a very nice Eye Candy X Maine/Ang heifer. The 3rd pic is a Boardwalk X Maine/Ang heifer. The 4th is a Tiger Woods X SimAng heifer.

I have had 7-8 Eye Candy calves over the last 2 yrs and have only pulled a set of twins because the cow was down one was backwards.  If she had been up she could have had them easily.  I have first calf heifer of of Eye Candy this year that had a Northern Improvement heifer calf.  Good little...

Has anyone tried shag for heifers or a product called Femininity?  If so what were the results or how did you like it?

I sure like the looks of him.  I am thinking of ordering some just in case too!
