I will have a litter born in a couple months.  The female is red and a very aggressive herder with some bite to her and the male is black and a little more timid but works great.

Actually she is in heat now so should have pups in a couple months.  (miscalculated that one. lol) Let me know if you are interested as her last litter went pretty quickly.  I can send you pics of her, the male and a daughter from their last litter.

I have used melatonin to calm a steer and it worked great.  It really take the edge off and make them manageable.  Will us it in the future before every show!!

I have a red female that should be in heat again in a few months will be letting her have another litter.  But pups wouldn't be ready for 6-7 mo.

I have a DH2 calf coming the end of March.  This makes me even more excited.

Is she registered?  For females what about Trauch's KCC Saginaw, Simple Math, Long's Shear Pleasure or Doctor Meyer.  For steers I would have to agree on Monopoly or a son like Boardwalk.  I love my Eye Candy calves and think you made a wise decision there!

If that is your terminal or final show with this steer, it says it can be fed 28-40 days prior to the show.  So I wouldn't necessarily say you're late but you better get it started.  I hear it works good in combination with a Revalor S implant.

I don't have any steers left but might have a heifer you would be interested in.  Let me see if I can get her clipped and pics taken as soon as the weather cooperates.  I will get back to you with pics.

Did you vaccinate with a modified live vaccine?  Did they have mod live vacs as calves?  When long after the vacs did they abort?  Just a few more questions before we can give you some possibilities...
