I wouldn't worry yet, I had an angusx cow calve yesterday 2 weeks over due with a shorthorn calf.

I bought one yesterday at a farm auction, it has between 300 and 400 straws of semen in it.  I was unable to attend the auction so sent a bid with a friend so I have no idea what the semen is.  I guess I will find out tomorrow, hopefully there is an inventory list!!!

Thanks to Kirk Stierwalt for the excellent job of judging in Brandon,MB last week.  The interaction with the kids was great.  I was unable to attend the clinics earlier in the week but I am sure they were well done also.  From a 4-H parent and leader thanks for a job well done!!!  (clapping)

This may seem like a dumb question but do you use Whole or rolled corn?

It is coming out in clumps and has been off and on all winter.  It looks like lice with bad dandruff but like I said has been treated for this.  I have never had this problem for this long before.

It was a pour-on Ivomec, not expired and used according to directions.  Will ring worm make him loose hair in big patches or in smaller spots with scabs?

Lice and sunburn were my first thoughts as well, but he has been treeted 3 times for lice and we have only had 3 hours of sun in the past three weeks here in Manitoba.  This has me at a loss.

I have a steer that is loosing hair, he has not been washed and has been treated 3 times with Ivomec in the past 3 months but the hair keeps falling out.  He is eating free choice grass hay and a rolled barley ration and free choice minerals.  I am wondering what could be causing the hair loss...
