Congratulations Canada on your hockey gold!

Now the talking heads are calling this the greatest moment in Canadian Sports History.  So what do you think?  Was it that big?

I'm not a huge hockey farn, just turned it on when I was in...

It was a good game. But I still haven't figured out how the "first loser" can actually be the gold winner. It seems like the the series is tied, so therefore, no clear winner.  This is like having the world series tie at 3 games apiece and then awarding the trophy to the last winner.  I say, after the olympics, they play again... winner take all.

Canada lost in the  "round robin" round and had to play and win a extra game to get to the " Championship round".

All the Olympic Gold winners were given those green bouquets... looked like broccoli to me. Seeing the Olympics were in BC I wondered if it was a new Marajuana plant that they had developed especially for the games. In BC, the sale of marajuana means more to their economy than fishing or tourism.  It was a great game... as for the greatest moment in Canadian sports... I say a definite NO. I can think of a few better moments in sport than this game.

Sorry Canadians , It was a great win, but 99.5% of us aren't really that upset over it. Had we won the streets wouldn't have been flooded with partiers.Would like to see an All Star football challenge between the two counties though. ;)

Our CFL football is a fun game to watch and I am a season ticket holder.
The best of the CFL would have trouble with most of your college teams never mind the NFL teams.
A different calibre of professional player.

That's what I thought as well, the boquet sure reminded me of not yet mature cauliflower!
