    Was gonna use buford on a second calf cow... But changed my mind bc she is so heavily Brahman influenced!! I don't want to add anymore Brahman influence to the calf than the mom has but I don't want to much.. She's a heifer so I was going with something calving ease!! I just bred her mom to MAB!!!

    We had the same issues with a couple of ours! The calves had a hard delivery and had some brain damage and no will to survive... What we did was give them a shot of multi min and tube feed them colostrum and milk along with electrolytes! We had to tube feed ours 2-3 times before they would nurse...

    Agreed!! I use the green stuff and LOVE it!! Also melatonin helps hair growth... I'm going to start using it!

    I tie mine up and scratch them with the show stick for around 5 minutes and it has worked for me  :)

    Need Suggestion for supplement

    I have fed precon for that reason but didn't see a difference... I am now feeding beet pulp! If you can get a pic of your steer I might be able to tell you what supplements he would need now and in the future...

    My steer pops in his pasterns too..However he was born like that! Neither the parents or any of their other offspring have it  ??? I'm wondering the same thing!!
