    Kentucky Derby

I was an impressive win, but the field was soft.  He will have a harder time at the Belmont with the horses than ran closer to him in the derby.  They went from Kentucky to New York and will have 5 weeks rest and training on the Belmont track.  This is where the good horses get seperated from...

    Probems with Cidrs

My son and mother actually found the one that were out and they said the found them in or near cow pies.  But I found the outlaw tonight.  One of my second calf heifer had one in her mouth out of another cow.  Needless to say she is now in isolation.  After rereading my original post I'm sure...

    Kentucky Derby

Ok settle down.  Back to the race.  Big Brown will win the Precness.  (terrible speller).  It is always the easiest of the three.  The real contenders will go to New York, rest, and wait for Big Brown at the Belmont.  The whole thing is set up so that it is almost impossible to win all three in...

    Race Horses

This is kind of a complicated question.  We have raced horse for 40 years and I can assure you that the horses are faster.  One of the main reasons you don't see horses breaking a lot of the records is because of the surfaces that they are running on.  In the 70's and 80' horses ran on tracks...

It is still to cold for bass in Utah too, but the trout don't mind the chill. My boys are happy about that.

    Too much calf.

We buy it in liquid form and it mixes into grain nicely.  It usually take 30 to 60 days to work on horses, I will assume it will be the same on cattle.

    Too much calf.

Good thinking.  I am actually breeding some cows to Sin City for the reason.  Thanks for all the help guys.

    Too much calf.

My father train racehorses.  When he has a horse than is nervous or gets wound up, he feeds it a B1 vitamin.  This really quiets them down.  I know apples and oranges, but has anyone heard of using this on cattle?
