I'm going to either buy or build a small barn, about 12x16, and I was wondering if it would be better to get steel or wood.  The steel barns are much cheaper but I was afraid that they might heat up like an oven.

I agree with the Heat Wave thing, some of the best clubbies I have ever seen, but for one good Heatwave, there are probably thirty rat tails.  I sure don't mind buying them, but I wouldn't want to breed to him.  Also, way too many breeds in one package for me.

Well, we raised. Hamley and as far as I know there isn't a clone of him yet.  I love his calves, and he sires lots of champs in the breed, I would also say take a look at Majestic Lightning, he kicks out some good calves, I  saw Fat Tony at Denver and was pretty impressed, had pretty good bone...

I am digging the Fat Tony calf, I plan on using this bull in the future

Well, if you want heifers than none of them, but if you are wanting steers, I like the pics of Bodacious and Fast Freddy, Bodacious has an alright pedigree.

Ok, so I bought a half shorthorn and a half Charolais steer and was curious what percentage they have to be to be a registered Shorthorn Plus and a registered Charolais?
