    Hair Growth: What works?

M&T and Laser Sheen both work fine on cattle.  If you check out the Hall of Fame discussion Mixing Kleen Sheen and Vinegar, it lists all kinds of concoctions that include Laser Sheen and/or M&T.  Good luck to you and your brother!

    Hair Growth Supplements

There are several discussions taking place right now about the various hair growth supplements out there.  Personally, I have never fed one before.  The steer my son has right now is his first--he's shown bucket calves for two years, so hair growth has not really been an issue.  With this steer...

    Grow & Shine vs. Shag

Somewhere, I think it was on this forum, I read that heifers shouldn't be fed Shag if you were going to try to breed them.  If I run across that thread again, I will let you know which one it was.

    Hair Growth: What works?

I can't help you with the supplement information, because I've never fed any.  I might try some this year, though, so I'm interested in the responses you get.  There are also a few other threads active right now discussing the various supplements. As far as rinsing, that depends on how hot...

    20 Sullivan Supply scholarships available

Go back and read the OP.  He says "the livestock show industry and/or raising livestock".  Personally, I am one of those people who would love to support Mr. Sullivan's company.  There are two thoughts I have about your sarcastic post earlier.  One, what difference does it really make why...

Wanted: used grooming chute in southcentral Kansas

My son is turning 9 tomorrow, and has his first steer this year.  He loves working with him, and I know we are going to be doing this for a long time.  I am looking for a used chute within 100-200 miles of Wichita.  I'm also interested in turbo fans, if anyone has any. Thank you segersmom

New show mom needs steer coat color advice

I forgot to mention that the calf is black, but he has some white on his belly and in the switch of his tail.  Is there a way to keep the dye off the white parts?  Because I'm assuming that it would work on the white too....

New show mom needs steer coat color advice

My son is showing his first steer in the county fair this year, and around here, it's very competitive.  We don't have the facilities to keep him inside during the day, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on keeping the black black.  Sometimes I use sunscreen on my horses, and I used...
