Could not agree more!  Of all the national judging contests I went to this past year, I maybe saw two or three stuctually sound steers that were truly comfortable on the move.

As much as I disagree with the showring and the club calf industry, I still find it interesting and "fun".  But I wanted to pose some questions for the SP world.   How consistent could any of these club calf sires be?  They have every breed under the sun in them, and are the outlier or extreme...

Saw about 30 young bulls out of Rodman at MCF and they were a very consistent set.  Sout, Moderate, Deep, and Functional...nothing too extreme but very consistent.  I was extremely impressed!

If you do choose to do a calving ease sire, I would stay away from rocky balboa.  I have seen a lot of train wrecks out of him.

You might look into Silveiras Style, I have seen three calves from him that were out of cows a lot lower quality than your momma cow, they all looked very good.  Just another one to add to your search list, but I would still reccomend doing what you did your first two years, unless you want to...

Learn from someone nearby who can do it and do it well.  It's always better to have a mentor who can teach you and would still be around for you to ask questions.

With a 4250 average on her calves I would change absolutely nothing, if it isn't broke then don't fix it. Jmho.

Her left whine leg set in the first picture kind of concerns me, she looks a little hocked in and kind of toed out up front, very feminine and angular look and good foot and bone.
