Nice line up! that TG/RRA Complete 421U bull looks very intersting! what are your results on him?
Thanks, we think a lot of him. We have not had any calves yet because we just got him this year. We will have around 40 calves coming starting April 1st 2012. He has semen available through Cattle Visions and SEK Genetics, or on the farm. There have been some calves born where the previous owner leased him to a guy that he knew. Here are a few calf pictures of the spring born calves he sent me.

Thanks for your interest and nice comments.

The calves pictured by complete are out of a group of cows with no genetic background ( mutts) I saw those shots earlier this summer and was excited about the consistancy. Complete himself has two shots of eagle 148- top and bottom. Complete's dam was a champ at calving at 19 mos of age. she has raised 3 bulls.

here is a chance to enrich a herd with 3/4 sh and 1/4 angus.... no questioned asked.... if this bull was on a show string diet you would not question the purchase of semen . Complete was born and raised w/o extras. JTM was not the 1st to call on him ... but the first to write the check.
I personally will turn out a 3/4 sh  x 1/4 an bull next spring. It's added lbs w/o added costs on mature size of cow is enough for me.

Isn't that the truth...

raebirdz...  i don't think you would like him, his breeder is a person  you don't see eye to eye with ever-- and as a result, I'm sure you wouldn't like his cattle.

Very nice JTM. Looking forward to a visit in May.

The cows I just bred him to are black crossbreds that I believe are anywhere from 50% black angus to 100%. I think these type of cows are the ones that Complete will work the best on.

I like that Sue, "JTM was not the 1st to call on him... but the first to write the check." I seen the picture of him, and said to myself, I better get over there and see this bull because he isn't going to last but a week. Let alone he was exactly what I was looking for. I thought I had to drive 6 hours to Michigan to look at him and was good and ready, luckily for me, he was in Columbus and only 2.5 hours away. Sue is right, this bull is the real deal. After you see him in person and you realize that he is actually better than the million dollar photo that was taken, then it is definitely an easy decision...

Seeing eyeto eye has nothing to do with appreciation of a good animal coming out of a program yes there have been online disagreements but jtms right sues right and tgcs right are not necessarily my wrong I just have my priority pushing in a different direction the complete bull fits a lot of my goals even if his breeder is striving for a different market then me. I will repat as the boy of many names likes to randomly fight again really like the bull can't wait for jtms update next spring it should come in lots of time cause I  start ai'ing in June better yet he can give the update from a black base ;) <beer>

rarebirdz and I have for sure butted heads. nothing personal for me. I was just confused by some of the vauge statements. I am flattered folks like Complete as much as they do. One thing for sure. If rarebirdz uses Complete and the calves are turds, Im pretty sure he will have no trouble telling me they suck. <beer>.  My goal from the beginning with Complete was to get him proven on a wide variety of cow types. Im more curious then anyone on how he will do.

For all the traffic this bull has created, Nobody wants to buy his dam when I advertised her. Yea I put 8k on her but that is pretty freakin cheap for a cow that has hit 2 home runs in 3 calves.. Im pissed I have to sell her and im half pissed nobody has snatched her up. She is bred to 329 for a jan/ feb calf. On 3 calves of which one hasnt sold yet, the cow has already generated a very nice profit. she has her whole life in front of her. She has no Trump, JPJ, Capt Obvious. She could be cash cow for somebody.

why?  when was this?  I know of a place you could stash her away for awhile... where she won't get pampered, and will be forced to live on fescue and bluegrass.

The fella I own the cow with wants out and I cant swing the 4k to buy his half. Dont get me started.

That really sucks maybe someone would be willing to purchase his share and you keep yours? She has been doing a great job would be a huge shame to have to part with her!

Thanks a lot. I have been very happy with his performance thus far. On top of how well he did being out with 30 cows all summer as a two year old with no grain, his calves are coming easy and are very nice. If you want you can call me and stop out to pick up some semen. Thanks again!
