Fat Butt has been known to throw some competitive simmy steers. Can't say he adds the most guts and flank, but is fine on a decent cow. Certainly will add bone, hip, top, and muscle. Good luck.

Sullivan has a product called wave tamer. I haven't tried it but have friends that have. I also agree with obie, brush down first, then forward. Using sheen regular and conditioners seems to help also. Good luck.

There were a couple in Silvertown's sale last weekend. They were moderate and looked okay but didn't stand out to me. Those are all that I've seen and I'm curious about his calves myself.

I like Steel Shot. I have seen him a couple times in a natural environment and he impressed me more than in his picture. He is quite long bodied and massively thick. I personally would use him on a deeper sided cow. He isn't bad himself, but I don't think he'll add guts.
