I'm looking for information on the simmental bull Uno Mas. There should be plenty of calves out there by now. He's been popular for a calving ease bull. My questions are; will they get big enough? Do they have enough muscle? How do they grow? I know I'm asking a lot for a calving ease bull but I don't want duds either. I've seen his video and he looks fairly massive but lacking rear quarter, especially lower quarter and a little finer boned. I've also seen the pictures of Purdue calves, which look nice but they are owners and I'm curious what everyone else is seeing. Any pictures of calves? Thanks.

I really like them. I had 6 of them born in October. 5 of them look good; one is runty but that was the mama's fault because she has a small bag. They seem to have pretty good muscle, I think. Even the runty one is pretty buff (just small). Here's a pic of a bull calf at 2 months.

I'm going to run him on all of my 1/2 blood heifers this year.  Most of the heifers are Grandmasters.  A good friend of mine was very, very happy with not only the calving ease, but growth.  Some of his best calves this year were Grandmasters bred to Uno Mas.  I'm trying to get some pics to post.
