    You know it also has a lot to do with how much you feed them in their last trimester I know alot of people dont feed there older cows but it dont have an affect on them also and during droughts and stuff when we feed a lot of grain and hay just so we can keep good condition on them it also...

    What is the best way to start in the clubby industery???

    First place I would start is buying about 4 or 5 good solid replacements females either PB angus or PB charolais.......Then start by using some black bulls on the charolais to get you some smokes! I think the best base for the clubby business is starting with purebreds!! But thats not sayin that...

    Might want to check on Breeders world and look at Brian Martins sale he has 4 or 5 really nice bulls and also Jirl Buck is fixing to have a bull sale.....

    A.I. with Walks Alone

    Yeah you gotta use him on PB cows like angus, charolais, shorthorns, your breeds that tend to be lighter on muscle and not as much width in their chest........you he doesnt work as well on them powerhouse clubby bred cows.......most of the time their front ends dont seem to stay together as well....

    Walks alone is a really good bull as well but needs to used more on a purebred base and I dont think Wade owns alot of purebred cows......as far as charolais and angus goes but then again he may...I dont know

    I know a guy that said he has talked to people from Texas to South Dakota and he has yet to talk to somebody that has pulled a Solid gold calf............something his calves will break behind their shoulders but other than that hes oviously has been doing a really really good job.......

    how do you get a steer to walk

    WHOA WHOA!!!! That is the greatest thing I have ever heard!!! There are some calves that you just cant break!!! And you have to use something else on them to try and make them work!! Its not that easy pull on a 500-700 pound calf to make then walk......they are a lot stronger than any human...

    We have good success with Depth Charge it is similar to full tank but swells up more.........and we have never had a calf that wont eat it......

    what to breed my heifers too...

    Thats why these bulls are consider calving ease.........because they wont power them up and more than likely wont add bone....I-80 has been working on females such as Heat Waves..............which typically have more muscle and more bone and harder time calving. If you havent seen any good I-80...
