Of the 55 lots pictured in Rodgers Fall sale 18 of them are out of "Believe in Me". More than any other sire group. I believe!

I realize that. He also owns 3 or 4 of the other sires represented and he did not breed or raise all of those calves.

Walks alone is a really good bull as well but needs to used more on a purebred base and I dont think Wade owns alot of purebred cows......as far as charolais and angus goes but then again he may...I dont know

Most people holding sales didn't breed all of the cows.  Some do, but a few select a few for a set to have in their sale.

I think you are missing my point. Obviously the bull owners and others have quite a bit of confidence in the bull based on the concentration of calves out of him in his sale. I am aware that in many sales (especially club calves) the breeder hosting the sale did not breed and raise all of the calves in their sale.It is a benefit to the bull promoter if they can identify high quality calves out of their bull or bulls to be included in the offering. I have 2 canes of BIM to breed to all of my clean cows and another of One and Only to breed all of the carriers. I do not know the bull owners but have seen a couple of interviews with Wade Rodgers and find him to be a breath of fresh air.

I definitely agree with WJ farms  ON THE KIND OF COWS to use for Walk Alone .......he does  work on those moderate Charolais and Angus cows ...

We've found that walks should be bred to med. to larger framed cows that are plainer in their make up. Our better, thicker made ones threw sale barn calves.

BIM has been said to be giving a lil more leg than walks. Breed him to those smaller frame types but same kind.
