    Meyer 734 x Angus Embryos

Sorry, I failed to include (other than the subject) that these are embryos.

    Meyer 734 x Angus Embryos

I realize there is a lot of scepticism about wheather all of the Meyer 734 progeny are really his. I have an opportunity to purchase some that I am confident are the real deal. What are they worth on today's market?

Clean bull to bring down frame

I had 3 thrillers last year. 1 heifer and 2 steers. All 3 were out of sim x angus cows and all 3 were framy. I sold the steers and they went on to make 52"+ fats and I kept the heifer. She is as tall as her mother at 20 months.

    Heifer Fertility

That's where I think I am. I called my vet back today because of something he said while preg checking them. He mentioned something about small repro. tracts and I didn't pay much attention. When I called him I reminded him of this and asked him what he actually saw. He said that the group...

    Heifer Fertility

Had my vet check them with a scope. They were running with the bull and 20 other cows. All cows were checked at the same time and only one was open. I have never actually seen any of these 8 heifers in heat. I have been doing this for 20 years and have never seen anything like it. I bought 6 of...

    Heifer Fertility

I had a set of yearling crossbred heifers that I began to ai back in Dec. They are all clubby bred and are mostly simmy x maine. Of the ten, two of them cycled normally and bred on the first service. I continued to observe them for heat with none detected. In Jan. I gave the remaining eight a...

    Need Advice!

Thanks again, I have kept a pretty close check on her since I noticed the mucous. No signs of heat and no signs of slipping calf. I will keep all informed.

    Need Advice!

Thanks for the reply. I have noticed this before as early as about 7 months but never 4. We will keep an eye on her!

    Need Advice!

Surely some of you have experienced this. I realize that it is not a good thing but is it necessarily a bad thing?

    Need Advice!

I was checking cows today and noticed one with a 6" mucos string hanging from her. She was bred AI on Dec. 2nd. She is not showing any signs of heat. She is also 12 years old. Should I be conserned?

Just had a Believe in Me bull calve

Got 6 Fall borns out of him and every one is good! One out of a Rocky Balboa x Meyer is a stud. One of those that is hard to find a hole in. We bred 20 to him in Nov.

    rag oil

I am a big fan of "rag oil" . Over the years I have used many gallons (especially in the Winter). For the most part I have found that rag oil is rag oil.

    Man Among Boys Clones

It's all about a business philosophy. "The end justifies the means.", "Dog Eat Dog" vs " Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I prefer the latter!

    Man Among Boys Clones

I was wondering if anyone felt the same as me and obviously they do. I realize in the big scheme of things I am a nobody in the club calf world but those guys at Rodgers have always made me feel like I was somebody. The couple of times I tried to talk to Phil Lautner over the phone I was made to...

    Man Among Boys Clones

What I am asking is, the last time I checked he was listed as owned by Wade Rodgers and Otto Show cattle.

    Man Among Boys Clones

I see where Lautner is promoting MAB clones and is offering MAB semen through his on-line auction. What's up with that?

    magic in me

I intended to reply last week and just didn't get the opportunity. We bred several cows to Magic in Me last year as an alternative to I 80. We wanted to breed to I80 but the semen cost was prohibitive. We also liked the bottom side of MIM pedigree. The calves were all deep and had a good look...

    Walks Alone, BIM and MAB

Thanks to everyone for their feedback. I never have any problems making breeding decisions with mature cows or heifers. As a matter of fact that is the fun part to me. I just usually struggle with those "Tweeners".

    Walks Alone, BIM and MAB

Thanks Gargan for the feedback. I can't believe that out of 278 views only one person has had any experience with these three bulls. I am sold on the "Rodgers Bull Battery". I am just trying to decide which bulls to match up with our cow herd based upon age and type. Thanks again!
