    Show Steer Weight Gain

It helps to research different feeds and additives. I finish my steers on showmaster finisher grain and add in power phat when I'm pushing them hard. There are also liquid fats you could utilize something as simple as vegetable oil could work if you start him out slowly. However you don't want...

    Thriller Bull

I actually had not looked into Jessie James until now so thank you for the suggestion. The heifers sire is I-80 and dam is out of Jigsaw. She is a smaller framed calf so if thriller throws smaller calfs maybe it is best to look elsewhere. I have just noticed a trend in the high selling heifers...

    Potential Heifer Buy. Thoughts?

Yes this is a live auction so I will be going to the sale and viewing the heifer in person. I have had too many bad experiences buying online. I was just asking an opinion I understand it is hard to make judgement from just one picture

    Potential Heifer Buy. Thoughts?

This is the only picture of her unfortunately. The sale is a live auction with a two hour preview. I agree with you though I like my heifers deep and wide and sound as a cat

    Hair growing tips

Rinse, blow, brush, comb, repeat. There is definitely a lot of work that goes into hairy cattle. On days where I can't rinse and fall short of time I definitely make time to comb my cattle daily to stimulate their hair. It's the same feeling as someone playing with your hair that same tingly...

    Judge my steer

A neck sweat will ultimately just help refine the look of his neck and keep it from looking too chunky. When I put a neck sweat on my animals it's only in the day time. You can get neck sweats from Sullivan supply for about $40 I'm not sure where to get them any cheaper. I have also seen the...

    My steer as warts

I just looked it up for you it is 8.95$ that's not including shipping obviously but it is pretty cheap. I have only bought it once and it has treated 3 head of cattle for me and I still have it so it is a good buy if you ask me.

    Potential Heifer Buy. Thoughts?

This is one of a few heifers I am looking at in a sale this weekend and am wondering what your thoughts are on her. She is a registered Maintainer

    My steer as warts

The best product I have ever used on warts is "warts off" by Sullivan's supply. It is a topical treatment that should be applied to the warts probably twice a day and I normally get rid of them within a week or so. I have found that this works well especially around sensitive areas on their...
